Let me introduce myself
Have you ever experienced the peculiar paradox of forgetting the simplest things while vividly recalling moments from your early childhood? Let me share a glimpse of my own journey.
During my early elementary years, I had an insatiable craving for the spotlight, constantly participating in school talent shows and eagerly joining band, orchestra, and choir. Fortunately, my parents embraced and supported my youthful aspirations.
Picture a scene from my past: a five or six-year-old me, alongside my mom, painstakingly assembling a set for the school talent show. Well, maybe not so painstakingly—I was probably more of an observer. Nevertheless, together we super-glued cotton balls onto a small watering trough, transforming it into a makeshift bubble bath, complete with a cardboard cutout of a rubber ducky adorning its side. And thus, I made my stage debut, belting out my unique rendition of Sesame Street's beloved tune, 'Rubber Ducky.'
Certainly, there were other creative moments sprinkled throughout my early life, but this particular one marked a defining moment that would shape my lifelong creative journey. Like my younger self, I never confined myself to a single pursuit, exploring various creative outlets such as playing the trumpet, piano, and viola through middle school and the early years of high school. However, as teenage interests shifted, I, like many other girls, put these extracurricular activities on hold, believing they weren't 'cool' anymore—a decision I now regret.
College became the catalyst for reigniting my creative spark. I delved into creative writing, journalism, and ventured into photography while dabbling in graphic design programs and classes. After nine years of exploration, including four years of college and five years of professional experience, I've distilled my passions, honed my skills, and am thrilled to announce the launch of my own digital marketing and photography business.
